Customer Review: Brought my knives back from the dead....

I took a knife skills class and they brought out this stone. I was blown away at the improvement to some really bad knives and I thought these would help my Wurstoff's. I was right. Really great product, very heavy and does what it's supposed to do and does it well. I'm sure I'll have it forever.Take my advice and learn proper sharpening technique. The included diagram while correct, is very sparse.
Description of King Pro Standard Whetstone, Medium Grit
Graded 800 on the grit scale, this medium-coarse whetstone hones dull and damaged knife edges. It requires submersion in water for 3 to 5 minutes before use. It measures 8-1/8 inches long and 2-3/4 inches wide, and it's 1-1/4 inches thick so it will last a long time. Instructions and diagrams for proper honing are included. --Fred BrackKnife Sharpeners
